Job Description
The Associate Project Developer (Renewable Energy) will be responsible for:
- Collaborating in the management and execution of the development of utility scale renewable energy projects from greenfield to COD
- Collaborate with engineering team and external consultants to evaluate site layouts and constraints, technology options, schedule implications, interconnection applications and studies
- Direct and conduct due diligence on development-stage project and portfolio acquisitions, including comparison and prioritisation of multiple opportunities based on common siting, permitting, interconnection, power-marketing and other project metrics
- Manage external stakeholders supporting environmental assessment campaigns
- Manage external stakeholders supporting property and sales tax abatement efforts
- Manage occasional permitting activities with support from other team members
- Prepare project budgets, schedules, and RFP responses

The Successful Applicant
The Associate Project Developer (Renewable Energy) will have
- Minimum of three (3) year’s experience in renewable energy industry with full life-cycle development
- Direct experience with utility scale solar, storage or wind projects in CAISO.
- Experience with land development: landowner engagement, and negotiation/contracting, title resolution, agricultural land use/water restrictions
- Knowledge of governmental mandates, environmental regulations or customer/market signals that impact or facilitate new development of renewable projects
- Bachelor’s degree is required

$115,000 – $130,000 base salary
