Asset Management, Sr Analyst

As an Asset Management, Sr Analyst you will:

• Serve as Portfolio Asset Manager responsible for aspects of commercial, technical and financial management of operating solar photovoltaic (PV) assets. Leverage knowledge of broader industry and regulatory structure, compliance aspects of operational PV oversight and technical asset performance (electrical system design and mechanics).
• Monitor and execute on contractual and regulatory compliance matters related to operating assets.
• Track technical and financial metrics to maximize asset performance and drive operational movements.
• Liaise with O&M (Operations and Maintenance) group on an on-going basis to ensure compliance with service contracts and project requirements.
• Own the P&L and manage accounting support group to ensure proper books and records of operating assets.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reporting to project counterparties, including monthly operating reports, financials, regulatory filings and technical reports.
• Provide feedback to technical operations group to apply on future due diligence efforts.

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Engineering Science, Environmental Science, Finance, Legal or related field.
• Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related solar/renewable energy role.
• Technical system design interpretation.
• Reviewing financial data of assets to evaluate financial performance.
• Reviewing full suite of project documents including tax equity agreements, credit agreements, power purchase agreements and determine commercial and compliance implications of such contracts.
• Accessing data acquisition system and interpret system data to assess real time performance.
• Generating, maintaining and monitoring budgets for all assets under management.
