What to Expect

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead the Facilities Maintenance team at Gigafactory Nevada. This individual will be playing a critical role developing and supporting a team of more than 75 skilled technicians and supporting personnel. That team will be responsible for facilities maintenance, grounds, and utilities infrastructure at the Gigafactory Nevada components plant.

What Youll Do

  • Responsible for maintenance and performance of site utilities and infrastructure assets at Gigafactory Nevada
  • Develop/manage KPIs to measure and improve department performance
  • Lead a highly skilled technician staff in the execution of preventative and corrective maintenance, spare part control, and general troubleshooting of plant utilities including water systems (purification and treatment), mechanical systems (FCUs, AHUs, Compressed Air, Exhaust, Chilled Water), Chemical Systems (refinement, distribution), Electrical Systems (transformers, distribution), and Grounds Maintenance Teams
  • Manage budget for maintenance team to include manpower, overtime, and spare parts
  • Develop and maintain a technical training plan to support career development of supervisors, planners, and technical staff
  • Acts as advisor to Maintenance Supervisors to meet schedules, resolve technical problems, and acts as incident commander during facility excursions; Manage on-shift escalations
  • Identifies complex problems and reviews related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Ensure leadership team understands and follows HR policies related to performance and attendance.

What Youll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience considered
  • 8+ years of related experience supporting facilities maintenance at a semiconductor, solar, or battery manufacturing site
  • Technical training in plant engineering or maintenance, or comparable professional experience
  • Potential to work with materials which contain hazardous chemicals
  • Self-directed, self-motivated and self-managing with ability to simultaneously prioritize tactical and strategic objectives
  • High tolerance of change
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
