Tuition Reimbursement
Provide on-site field operational/mechanical service on gas compression and process equipment at one of our Compressor Stations including process equipment, i.e. filter separators, metering equipment, transmitters, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate, Diagnose, Calibrate, and Repair Mechanical problems on CAT G3516 ULB and Ariel JGT Compressor Frames along with Air Transfer Exchangers.
- Submit accurate maintenance reports, logs, and other necessary administrative paperwork necessary for audit and inspections by outside contractors and facilitys to Operations Manager.
- Follows all Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures including using PPE and Lock-out/Tag-out per company requirements.
- Assist with scheduled and unscheduled equipment repairs and maintenance on Compressors and Process Equipment.
- Performs minor repairs on equipment, using hand tools.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- At least 12 months of Documented Mechanical Experience.
- Must have knowledge of CAT ULB Experience in 3500 series and 3600 series engines.
- Knowledge of compression, process and production equipment, electrical systems, Lockout/Tagout, and Safety procedures (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Must have the ability to work various shifts and days, depending on business demands.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must have knowledge of Reciprocating Compressor Training.
- Valid Operator Qualification (OQ).
- CAT 3500/3600 Series Engine Training, Ariel compressor training, ADEM 3 Training, Pipeline Experience.
- Collegiate Degree in Mechanical Studies or Environmental equivalent (preferred).
