How Youll Make an Impact

The After Market Sales Executive, through valuable, strategic-level conversations, maintains relationships to preserve and expand market penetration within the assigned installed base territory positioning customized, value-add solutions that drive customer focused business outcomes.

As an After Market Sales Executive, you are responsible for:

• Understanding the customers pain points and business drivers
• Utilizing your industry and financial business knowledge to create demand within your assigned accounts
• Developing short/long term account plans to expand market penetration within your territory
• Demonstrating value to key decision makers, stakeholders, and influencers throughout the sales cycles
• Leading cross functional teams and establishing the appropriate internal/external resources to drive customer focused solutions
• Developing and presenting of compelling purchasing strategies to convert opportunities into purchase orders
• Partnering with the Service Project Leads and Program Sales to understand specific customer concerns, issues and needs to support account plan development, drive customer satisfaction and create additional demand within accounts
• Driving transparency of business development activities through quality data and upkeep of data within account plans and Salesforce opportunities
• Achieving or exceeding order entry and pipeline development targets on a quarterly basis

What You Bring

• Bachelors degree
• 5+ years of direct customer business solution selling experience
• General knowledge/understanding of the power generation market
• Technical knowledge/experience of control systems
• Experience in solution development and/or bid management is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Team-selling experience
• Ability to travel 50%
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
