The following are the duties of this position at the full working level:
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-15: To be eligible for this position at this grade level, you must have (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience applying federal tax credits, incentives and accounting method laws, regulations, and legal precedents to large multinational businesses including predicting the impact of proposed legislation, policies and regulations on enforcement programs; Experience coordinating and collaborating with tax practitioners in the implementation of rules related to Internal Revenue Code section 38, general business credits including the research credit and accounting method changes brought about by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act related to section 174 and subsequent legislation; Experience with oral and written communication to develop, persuade and negotiate with a large and diverse set of stakeholders across a broad group of industries on issues related to the research credit and research or experimental expenditures under section 41 and 174 of Internal Revenue Code.

Category rating will be used to rank and select eligible candidates.
