Salary Range: $ 88,400 – $ 140,000

Incentive: PIP 10%

Job Summary

This position supports the approved RES programs with the potential to also support RES programs pending approval. The primary responsibilities of this position involve financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and business planning for the RES programs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide program reporting and analytical support for RES programs. Reporting responsibilities include creating and obtaining approval for BPU reports.
  • Provide financial and operational data to the RES program teams to support BPU reporting requirements.
  • Work with Accounting and Rates to ensure alignment of actuals and forecast for the RES programs.
  • Maintain and update the financial forecast models for the RES programs.
  • Support the implementation of Oracle and the transition from the Excel based forecasting models to the new web-based platform.
  • Develop and generate ad-hoc reports as required to support operational/financial reporting and analysis.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives within the Business Operations & Analysis group.
  • Support the Business Operations & Analysis group in cost recovery requirements, annual SAP planning, and the development of the 10-year business plan.
  • Process/analysis/tracking of all RES accruals and journal entries each month.
  • Maintain Program Admin Budgets and assist in creation of requisitions for purchase orders.
  • Play a leadership role in the development, recommendation, and implementation of new procedures/process improvements, often via cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare status reports for management, developing and delivering appropriate communication materials.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to program managers for RES program activities.
  • Drive efficiency and process improvement, utilizing leadership skills, data analysis and strong understanding of the business strategies.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required:

  • BS degree and 5+ years relevant work experience including business/financial experience. In lieu of a degree, 9 years relevant work experience and High School Diploma/GED Required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to senior audiences
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in report development and data analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reports
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and build effective relationships with stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite of programs (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Teams, etc.)
Desired:
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (PowerBI, SQL) and familiarity with relational databases
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Prior experience in Energy Efficiency
