The ideal candidate will have four to six years of leading law firm experience in tech transactions specific to the Life Science and/or AgTech industries. Experience should include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating the full range of technology transaction-related documents, including licensing and collaborations, product rights acquisition, joint ventures and co-development/co-promotion, supply, manufacturing, services, clinical trial agreements, sponsored research and university licenses, and material transfer and other building-block agreements. We expect a successful candidate to play a meaningful role in drafting and assisting in complex transactions with 9 and 10-figure bio-dollar valuations across a variety of therapeutic indications and platform technologies, while running smaller transactions, agreement review and client counseling with minimal supervision and oversight. Technology fluent in gene editing, crop trait development, immuno-oncology and gene therapy are all a plus.

Additionally, the candidate should exhibit the following skills and characteristics:

  • Thoughtful and inquisitive problem-solving skills adaptable to innovative scientific and technical contexts
  • Strong academic credentials(hard science education a plus) and writing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
