DESCRIPTION

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring multiple Acquisition Supervisors to work in our Business Management department. These positions are full-time onsite under a 9×80 schedule located at our Idaho Falls EROB facility with every other Friday off.

These working supervisor positions provide an opportunity to be directly engaged in meaningful and exciting acquisitions while also providing leadership to a team of Contract Specialists.

You will report to an Acquisition Manager with several direct reports.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan, award, administer, and closeout complex acquisitions.

  • Provides immediate supervision to a group of employees.

  • Primarily supervises Contract Specialists in an area of contracts specialty (e.g. Construction, Fabrication, Professional Services, etc.).

  • Maintains schedules and workflow of the team.

  • Mentor and train team members on a course of action based on knowledge of established procedures. Assign tasks and monitor work at frequent intervals.

  • Monitor employee performance against established goals and measures.

  • People management is an essential element of the job.

  • Interact daily with functional peer groups. Interaction normally involves the exchange or presentation of information. Convey straightforward information to audiences.

  • Follow established practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained and unique situations where contracts research is required.

QUALIFICATIONS


Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of relevant experience

Job Information:

The target pay range for this position is ($92,311 – $139,151) annually. The full pay range for this MR01/510 is ($76,980 $177,036). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
