Job Description

The Global Business Consultant (GBC) provides support and analysis to the Global Strategic Relationship Director (GSRD) and Global Business Director (GBD) for our largest strategic clients!

The GBC supports the GSRD / GBD with driving revenue and relationship growth and is responsible for collating, analyzing and presenting global account metrics, account reviews and commercial enhancements. The GBC is required to help the GSRD / GBD with communication of specific account initiatives and long term strategy, both internally and externally.

They will have a broad understanding of the customer and a constant focus on improving the customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Provide global support and financial and business analysis to the GSRD/GBD, presenting insight and recommendations to improve revenue opportunities in a highly complex environment e.g. commercial agreements, usage, revenue.

Provide support to the GSRD/GBD for contract creation, negotiation, the end to end annual price increase.


Ensure that all vital company resources are brought together to support the GSRD/GBDs with their objectives.

Be able to explain the results and conclusions and to articulate the outcome of their analysis to the GSRD/GBD with recommend improvements as well as gain agreement to move forward with development of large initiatives with significant impact to the Companys goals.

Participate in key leadership meetings to provide updates where needed as well as present and formulate proposals as and when requested by the GSRD/GBD.

Partner with Finance, Business Operations & Planning and Customer Administration (CA), to provide analytics, intelligence, forecasting and reporting to help inform and drive business decisions.

Work closely with Commercial Policy and Legal to ensure that partnership agreements and special deals align with LSEG terms & conditions.

Manage relationships with key partners both with the customer and within LSEG

Implement effective communication plans and operating rhythm with global teams to ensure consistent execution of the global account strategy, improve the customer relationship and to provide regular and accurate reports/analysis.

Deliver high quality project delivery, working with relevant internal and external people, staying within the constraints of scope, time and cost to agreed levels of quality e.g. major displacement programs, migrations and upgrades.

  • Facilitative & collaborative skills with the ability to work with cross-functional partners &clients.
  • Leadership ability to motivate and lead others in a matrix environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills and aptitude for problem solving, including data analysis and validation.
  • Financial & commercial competence
  • Project management skills; ability to provide direction and support to others is essential.
  • Effective time-management skills.
  • Expert level proficiency with MS Office Suite and especially w with PowerPoint.
  • Creative, innovative and able to successfully seize opportunities as they develop.
  • Proven ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple and complex projects simultaneously, adapting to changing priorities, to meet target dates in fast-paced service driven environment.
Compensation/Benefits Information (New York applicants only):

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $96,900 – $180,100.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/bonus plan). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
