Here is how the Logistics Management Field Technician I/II/Sr role will impact our business:

The Logistics Management Field Technician provides direct field oversight of water hauling, sand hauling, and water transfer activities in support of oil and gas production operations.

The Logistics Management Field Technician I/II/Sr responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides field-level management of trucking and pipeline operations associated with the movement of water and sand
  • Directly oversees operations located on well pads, pipeline routes, roadways, and storage/processing facilities
  • Supervises contractors responsible for water hauling, water transfer, and sand hauling
  • Understands and enforces safety and environmental regulations and corporate standards
  • Regularly coordinates workflows of groups of contractors and subcontractors
  • Assist with incident response and data collection

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated general mechanical and construction knowledge
  • Willingness to work in an outdoor environment and drive to remote locations
  • Typing and other administrative duties
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and corporate applications
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Understanding of water pipeline operations and hydraulics
  • Knowledge of general pump operations and pump performance
  • Understanding of freshwater intake operations and water truck loading/offloading operations
  • General knowledge of water storage facilities and tank inspections
  • Understanding of sand sourcing and transportation for frac supply

Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
