If you are a Quality Assurance professional looking for an opportunity to grow in a management role, Emerson has an extraordinary position for you based in our East Wenatchee, WA location! You will have the opportunity to work with our Engineering, Production and Sales teams as you lead our team of Quality Engineers and Quality Inspectors to meet the unique needs of our customers operating in exciting industries. We manufacture highly accurate, innovative pressure instrumentation, pressure transmitters, temperature probes and sensors for some of the world’s most vital and technologically sophisticated industries.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Maintain, improve and successfully implement RSP’s Quality System by:
    • auditing effectiveness.
    • serving as focal point of customer audits.
    • developing measures of improvement.
    • developing and maintaining procedures.
  • Provide Leadership, Management and Accountability (LMA) to eliminate waste throughout RSP and improve the systems of production and support services to improve quality and productivity.
  • Lead efforts to reduce cost of quality.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of supplier process that improve PPM Nonconformance.
  • Address and resolve communication issues with RSP customers.
  • Lead Quality function to support all product lines and functional areas.
  • Explore new methods for quality improvement and act as consultant and motivator to RSP staff for making improvements.
  • Provide technical support training in methods for improvement and institute training for supervisors and new workers.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Eight (8) years of related experience.
  • Five years (5) experience leading people.
  • Must be a U.S. Person “Per ITAR requirements, an applicant must be a U.S. Person to be eligible for this position. U.S. Persons include individuals who are (1) citizens or nationals of the U.S., (2) lawful permanent residents, (3) admitted as refuges, or (4) are granted asylum in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Lean or Six Sigma training is preferred.
  • A degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited Engineering school is preferred.
  • Some management experience is preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing a plus.
  • Ability optimally lead and communicate in a heavily collaborative organization.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $110,000 – $120,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to this role.
