Position Description
Performs a variety of warehouse duties related to shipping and receiving including packing, pulling/checking customer orders, replenishment, shipping, computer operation, scanning equipment, and material handling. Supports the incoming and outgoing of materials, including preparing and/or maintaining any required documents.
Job Responsibilities
- Selects, prepares, and packs parts for shipment utilizing the appropriate shipping method. Handles all related paperwork or documents, recording or verifying pertinent information for domestic or international shipping.
- Determines method of shipment, utilizing required shipping software, and knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
- Processes reports related to shipping including work orders, packing lists, pick lists, bills of lading, customer pick tickets, and related information.
- Audits shipments prior to loading the truck verifying the load against the customer order. Ensures that all transactions have been entered in the system.
- May assist in ensuring inventory accuracy by investigating and correcting variances through cycle counting
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
