Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The HR Generalist supports to align the FORVIA people strategy with the local business needs. You will act as an administrative HR expert and be the trusted go to partner for the FORVIA employees in your perimeter. You are the strategic partner for your business stakeholders and work on setting priorities, driving values, and delivering business results.

  • Act as trusted HR expert for all FORVIA employees in your perimeter
  • Manage the organizational structure and the recruitment process
  • Manage all operational administrative tasks regarding HR topics
  • Execute local and global HR initiatives like employee surveys, Employer Branding initiatives, employee events and change projects
  • Coordination of the external HR service providers
  • Oversee and supervise the onboarding, training and employee development processes
  • Preparation of reports and analyses
  • Coordinating and conducting the employee evaluation and bonus process
  • Participation in audits and controls regarding managed areas
  • Close cooperation with the workers council or union if applicable

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum education level:

  • BA / BSc HR, business administration or related
  • MA / MSc HR, business administration or related preferred

Professional Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in an operative HR role
  • Good understanding of organizational topics in an industrial setting
  • Solid knowledge of local HR legislation
  • Strong Business Partner acumen combined with a consultant mindset

Skills and competencies:

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluency in the local language and good English skills
  • Very good MS Office skills
  • First experience with HR management systems like SAP SuccessFactors is beneficial
