Job Summary

The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder is hiring a Part-time Lecturer position in Accounting division for Fall 2024. We are seeking a lecturer to teach between 1-4 courses in the fall semester. The number of courses will be agreed upon between the candidate and the division chair. There may also be the potential for the hired individual to continue as a lecturer in Spring 2025.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • Teach 3-12 credit hours of accounting courses per semester focusing primarily on sophomore- and junior-level financial accounting classes.
  • Utilize Canvas to provide lecture content.
  • Collaborate and coordinate well with colleagues to contribute to the goals of the division.

What We Can Offer

This is a one-semester appointment (there may be the possibility to continue in the spring semester). Each 3-credit hour, undergraduate course taught receives $6700 in compensation. There may be the potential to teach a 1.5-credit hour MS course and the compensation for this course would be $4,000.

What We Require

Minimum requirement of a CPA or masters degree in accounting; preference will be given to candidates who have more teaching experience.
