Noble is hiring for a Senior Accountant to join our team in our Corporate Office during this time of growth. We have recently secured contracts for drilling operations throughout the world, and are putting an emphasis on our Decarbonization efforts and growth culture within the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring financial transactions are accurate and in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles as well as Noble accounting policies and procedures. Assist with internal and external audit requests. Prepare other corporate financial analyses, reports and presentations as directed by management. Participate in the month-end close process.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Heavy participation in the month-end closing process including preparation of journal entries and account analysis / reconciliation.
  • Ensure intercompany entries are properly recorded per governing agreements.
  • Participate in the preparation of schedules for internal management reporting and SEC disclosures.
  • Assist in departmental cost analysis and reporting.
  • Support Regional Controllers in monthly close processes and assist in working through issues.
  • Legal Entity and governmental reporting and filings for some Corporate-held entities.
  • Research and resolve various accounting and business issues.
  • Develop and maintain monthly reports for management as requested.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as requested.
  • Assist external and internal auditors with audit requests.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting from an accredited college, university or institution. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in accounting, with general ledger experience required. Reporting experience and Public accounting experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and an expert in Excel.
  • Experience with OneStream and IFS is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and proven people and organizational skills.
  • The ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines. May need to work overtime.
  • Must be flexible and have demonstrated skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Team player and responsible individual who takes initiative and ownership.
