Job Description
We’re working on a solar tracker project in Camilla, GA, focused on remediation. Here’s what you’d be doing:
- Assembling, Installing, Moving, and Maintaining Solar Systems: You’ll put together, set up, relocate, and keep up solar systems and their structures as per site assessments and schematics.
- Assisting with Maintenance and Repairs: You’ll help with fixing and maintaining different parts of the plant.
- Using Tools: Expect to work with various tools, including grinders.
- Adaptability: You’ll need to be flexible, especially when working in tough environments like mud and tall grass.
- Troubleshooting: If any problems pop up during operations, you’ll be there to figure them out and fix them.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems and basic electrical principles is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in project-based environments with tight deadlines.
- Physical fitness and the capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Aptitude for hard work and a strong commitment to project success.
- Preference for local candidates, depending on the site location.
Dress Code:
Wear sturdy clothes without logos that you’re comfortable working in. You’ll need steel-toed boots or closed-toe shoes.
Work Schedule:
Start from 8 am (8 hours hours a day), Monday to Friday
Project periods: 3-4 weeks
This is a temporary, project-based job and is paid as a 1099 contractor. Holidays and non-work days are unpaid.
