Gordian Energy Systems is growing rapidly and has an immediate need for a QAQC Inspector. The QAQC Inspector is responsible for ensuring all installations completed by Gordian Energy Systems meet company quality standards, technical specifications, and the construction drawings. The QAQC person hosts inspections mid construction to review progress and make comments in the form of Procore observations. At the conclusion of construction, they also perform a final QAQC inspection to verify all project deviations are recorded on the as built drawings and no quality assurance issues are present onsite.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Review, comment, and approve design drawing submittals (electrical)
  • Review, comment, and approve sub-contractor submittals
  • Perform mid construction QAQC inspections as required by the department
  • Make note on as-built drawing deficiencies during QAQC inspections
  • Perform final QAQC inspection at the conclusion of the project
  • Work at the direction of the Director of Commissioning to assist with close out deliverables
  • Completion of reporting and documentation at the direction of the Close Out Manager

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in Electrical Contracting, Engineering, or field installation experience
  • PVSYST knowledge.
  • Attention to details and experience in creating and reporting accurate documentation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
  • National Electrical Code Knowledge
  • Some occasional travel required

Preferred, but not required:

  • Commercial Solar electrical and commissioning.
  • System commissioning and performance testing experience.
  • Familiarity with Procore or Project Management Software
  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Electrical engineering or field installation: 5 years (Preferred)
