Reporting to: Head of CS, PNW

Travel: up 40% on the road

Experience Level: 2+

Starting Salary Range: $65k-$85k + commission

The Role:

As a Customer Success Manager, you’ll be the linchpin between our innovative products and our customers’ success. Reporting to the PNW Head of Customer Success and Business Development, you’ll work closely with medium to large agricultural enterprises, helping them maximize the value of our products and services. Your strong agronomic background and expertise in modern agtech, particularly imaging, will be crucial in guiding our customers to optimize their use of water, chemicals, and fertilizers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and grow positive relationships with new and existing customers to provide agronomic recommendations, demonstrating agronomic expertise and exceptional service.
  • Customer engagement: The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with farm senior management is critical. This will involve engaging customers on-site and remotely so the ability to travel is important.
  • Business Expansion: Grow our existing customer base by expanding the usage of existing products and introducing new products and features.
  • Customer Retention: Minimize customer churn by handling and resolving customer requests and escalations promptly.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Work effectively with the Ceres Imaging global science team,
  • Product and Service Optimization: Liaise with Product Management to provide feedback on product usage, service design, and development.
  • Operational Coordination: Work with our flight operations team to monitor and manage flight schedules.

Skills for Success:

  • Proven track record of meeting or surpassing goals, preferably in Ag SaaS companies.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce and Jira.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
  • Previous experience in the agriculture industry.
  • Understanding of data and analytics solutions.
