Job Description

Geneverse is seeking a talented individual to join our growing team as a D2C Sales Manager. The Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base through direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales. You will help and support a dynamic sales team, develop strategic initiatives, and optimize our D2C sales channels to achieve our business objectives, aligning with Geneverses goal of creating a Direct to Consumer channel to facilitate homeowners’ access to our Home Energy Solutions product portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a proven ability to strategize and implement strategic program initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of direct sales representatives focused on selling solar energy solutions to residential customers.

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.

Monitor and analyze sales metrics and report on sales performance.

Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to sales team members to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.

Foster long-term partnerships with a focus on maximizing revenue and retention.

Collaborate with marketing, operations, and other departments to optimize sales processes and improve customer experience.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).

Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role in the solar industry.

Previous experience in renewable energy: solar and battery storage

Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.

Minimum of 5 years in a target-driven sales environment, preferably in technology or renewable energy industries.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective strategies.

Knowledge of solar energy products and solutions.

Ability to travel as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $95K+ (plus commission)

Benefits: Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. PTO includes vacation time, sick time and holiday pay, 401(k) with company match up to 4%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $95,000.00 per year
