Job Description
ECUs Department of Technology Systems is seeking Research Assistants.

Student Assistant Duties will include the following:

  • Students MUST be in Greenville for the whole Fall of 2024.
  • Students must spend ~4 hours per week in the research lab (RAWL ANNEX, Main Campus) preparing literature reviews. Students can fix their own 4-hour/week lab time according to their class schedule or convenience.
  • Willing to work outside (in-person) at ECU West Research Campus. Students may need to drive to the ECU West research campus 1-2 times weekly to water green roofs during the Fall.
  • Help develop literature reviews on green infrastructures (green roofs, renewable energy, and so on), urban storm-water management, mental health benefits associated with green roofs, and so on.
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
Prior research experience with any entity in the field of design sustainability, environmental design, planning, low-impact/sustainable construction, biology, soil science, or engineering will be given preference.
