Job Description

At Accenture Ocelot, full stack developers work as a team to build modern, cloud-native products with our clients. Teams are empowered to own all facets of development including frontend, backend, infrastructure, and data pipelines. An ideal candidate will enjoy being a generalist not expected to be an expert in all of these, but enthusiastic and capable of learning and contributing wherever needed.

At this time, we are actively looking for developers with experience in AgTech to help launch new capabilities with clients specifically focused on Biotechnology and Plant Breeding.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience developing cloud-native applications and deploying to a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

  • 4+ years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages (preferably JavaScript, Node.js)

  • 4+ years of practical experience designing and implementing large, scalable web applications and APIs providing elasticity, redundancy, failover, and intelligent routing

  • 4+ years of experience with front-end web technologies (e.g. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ReactJS)

  • 4+ years of hands-on expertise with multiple database technologies (e.g. Postgres, Oracle, Mongo, Elastic Search) and/or SQL and related query languages

  • 2+ years of unit testing and CI/CD experience

Nice to have

  • Experience working in an agile, team-oriented environment

  • Understanding of DevOps responsibilities including OS and Container Management

  • Experience with AWS services including Lambdas, S3, SQS, SNS, and Step Functions

  • Practical understanding of security best practices in software development

  • Progressive Web App experience

  • Native mobile app development experience

  • Experience with deployment automation to cloud environments using Docker, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.

  • Experience working in the Agriculture domain developing capabilities to advance R&D, Supply Chain, or Commercial strategies

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.

California $93,400 to $224,600

Colorado $93,400 to $194,100

District of Columbia $99,500 to $206,700

New York $86,500 to $224,600

Maryland $86,500 to $179,700

Washington $99,500 to $206,700
