Overview

TRC is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Project Manager II to oversee delivery of energy efficiency initiatives primarily serving the Heat Recovery program in New York State. Eligible candidates will be a hands-on, highly skilled resource with a combination of project administration and technical experience. Background in energy efficiency and clean energy project management are critical and the ability to write standard operating procedures is required. TRC seeks an individual with proven success managing a diverse set of responsibilities and with superb communication skills to grow with our company.

Responsibilities

  • The day-to-day responsbilities for this position include coordination/communication with program vendors, review of vendor submitted project deliverables, issuance of payments to vendors for project milestones, and reporting on program progress.
  • This position will also manage any vendors selected for technical support or program implementation by NYSERDA.
  • This role is important to achieve the milestones, outputs, and outcomes from the Consolidated Investment Plan for the Energy Management Technology chapter.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Environmental Science, or a related field required.
  • Previous experience with utility and/or government incentive program implementation
  • General knowledge of building HVAC systems and common Energy Efficiency measures
  • General knowledge of common energy management strategies within Commercial & Multifamily buildings
  • General knowledge of New York State Technical Resource Manual (or other state equivalent), and ability to understand savings methodologies included in this resource
  • Ability to understand, develop, and streamline operational processes for a range of Programs
  • Work with team members to identify and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong database knowledge and ability to learn system
  • Ability to communicate clearly with Program contractor
  • Ability to quickly adapt to multiple processes within the different Program
  • Ability to analyze data sets and present findings in a succinct and actionable manner
  • Salesforce, SharePoint, Microsoft Office suite, Excel, Adobe Acrobat; highly preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with knowledge of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Graph functionality.
  • NEIS (will be trained by NYSERDA)

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $70,000.00 – USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
