Renewable Energy GIS Director

Join our team as a Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Manager, where you will play a crucial role in managing our company’s spatial data and analysis for renewable energy projects nationwide. You will collaborate with various departments to plan, direct, and execute GIS tasks, contributing to the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of GIS projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Stay updated on emerging GIS technologies to enhance company processes and decision-making.
• Provide technical support and training on GIS to staff members.
• Manage GIS consultants to achieve project objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Cartography, Computer Science, or related field; GIS Certificate preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a GIS environment, with proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS Online platform.
• Familiarity with the renewable energy industry.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Leadership and project management abilities.
• Must be able to work in ambiguous situations and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Location: Boulder, CO or Denver, CO

Salary: $80,000/year DOE
