Summary:

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting the management and optimization of the organization’s treasury operations. This role involves assisting with cash management forecasting, banking platform(s) management, and supporting accounting and reporting on cash related activities. The Treasury Analyst will work with various internal and external departments to contribute to efficient liquidity management, compliance with financial regulations, and the daily tactical allocation of the company’s financial resources.

Job Details:

  • Assist in monitoring and managing daily cash positions to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs
  • Support the preparation of Weekly 13-Week and Annual forecasted cash flow requirements, helping to prepare daily and weekly cash files
  • Participate in the disbursement and collection approval processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions
  • Help create new payments file and ensure accurate rollover of formulas, balances, etc. monthly
  • Assist in executing electronic payments (ACH + WIRES + Foreign Currency trade/payments)
  • Monitor foreign currency market conditions and report on their potential impact on the company’s financial position
  • Support the oversight of the company’s investment portfolio, ensuring compliance with investment policies and objectives
  • Assist in maintaining and relationships with banks and other financial institutions
  • Provide negotiation support for banking services and fees to optimize cost-effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
  • Assist in preparing treasury reports, including cash flow forecasts, investment performance, and risk assessments
  • Provide data and analysis to support insights and recommendations on treasury-related matters
  • Contribute to the improvement of treasury processes and implementation of best practices
  • Utilize technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy in treasury operations
  • Participate in treasury-related projects and initiatives to automate and integrate banking platforms with ERP/NetSuite
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, tax, and other departments to support treasury activities
  • Assist in providing training and support to team members on banking platforms and related topics
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field or equivalent
  • 2-5 years in treasury, finance, or related roles
  • Knowledge of cash management, financial risk management, and investment strategies
  • Familiarity with treasury management systems and financial analysis tools
  • Knowledge of Bonding / Surety, Standby Letters of Credit, Escrow Programs, preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and accountability
  • Proficiency in MS Office application; familiarity with accounting and ERP platforms (NetSuite) preferred
  • Basic knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
  • Interest in learning about Corporate Insurance programs and risk management
  • Remote opportunity in the greater Portland, OR or Denver, CO area with limited travel
