Role: Senior Solar Engineer

Location: Remote

Salary Range: $125,000 – $150,000

We are on the hunt for a dynamic Senior Solar Engineer to join this visionary team on a remote basis. If you have a deep passion for electrical engineering and at least three years of hands-on experience in an electrical-focused role, this could be your next big move. Ideal candidates will also have a minimum of two years working on commercial solar projects over 200KW. Your expertise in crafting and refining single and three-line diagrams will be invaluable in propelling their projects to new heights.

The ideal candidate should have the following:

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in commercial solar projects exceeding 200KW, including system design, installation, and optimization.
  • Minimum of 3 years in an electrical-focused role, with a comprehensive understanding of electrical principles, components, and systems.
  • Proven ability to create, interpret, and manipulate single and three-line diagrams, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Proficient in using electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst) and familiar with NEC codes and standards relevant to solar installations.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify issues and develop innovative solutions in complex electrical systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Preferably holds an electrical engineering degree or NABCEP-certified
