Your Impact:

In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving lead generation, identifying tailored product solutions for customers, and writing compelling proposals to secure $5 million in annual top-line revenue. Your strategic contributions will be pivotal in growing and developing a pipeline of renewable energy projects, from commercial and industrial (C&I) to utility-scale. The ideal candidate will leverage existing relationships to showcase the comprehensive benefits of our broader service offerings, including Solar Services, Operations & Maintenance (O&M), and more.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Close Revenue Opportunities**: Identify and engage potential commercial and ESP clients, generating leads through networking, referrals, and industry events. Discover new revenue streams and address customer challenges to effectively engage with Pearce.
  • Consultative Selling: Conduct needs assessments to understand client energy goals and present tailored solar solutions that meet their needs.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and conversions.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest solar technologies, industry trends, and regulatory developments to effectively communicate our value proposition.
  • Proposal Development and Management: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients, demonstrating ROI and sustainability benefits. Work with internal stakeholders to develop pricing strategies and solutions and complete necessary quote documentation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Account Plan Management: Develop and manage comprehensive written account plans.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure flawless execution of multiple projects and maximize business opportunities.

Core Experience

  • Sales Experience: A minimum of 5 years of successful experience in sales in the renewable energy space preferred
  • OEM Experience: Previous experience working for an OEM of inverters, modules, transformers, ESS equipment, EV chargers, etc., is preferred.
  • Value Proposition Delivery: Strong skills in delivering succinct company value propositions in customer communications and sales calls.
  • Communications Portfolio: Demonstrated portfolio of communication work, including, technical collateral, proposals, presentation decks, and printed material.
  • Cross-Functional Success: Demonstrated success in a cross-functional and multi-division environment, effectively interacting with executives, mid-management, and subject matter experts to inspire understanding and agreement.
  • Leadership and Team Collaboration: Comfortable in both leadership and team-player roles, managing team members, leading meetings, and supervising as needed.
  • Existing Relationships: Established relationships that can benefit from our extensive service offerings, including Solar Services and O&M is a plus
