Focus:

• Design and develop electrical systems for power generation and storage, selecting and specifying the necessary hardware.
• Utilize AutoCAD Electrical to produce precise and detailed electrical schematics in line with industry standards and company guidelines.
• Conduct essential design calculations to validate component selection and system functionality.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and firmware engineers to choose the best electrical components for new products, considering factors such as cost, performance, and availability.
• Test and commission equipment to ensure systems function correctly and meet quality and safety standards.
• Participate in design reviews, providing technical insights on electrical component selection.
• Conduct thermal and load distribution analyses for control cabinets, motor control centers, and power cabinets equipped with rectifiers.
• Knowledge of PLC systems and the ability to perform factory acceptance tests and commissioning with PLC automation.
• Prepare project documentation and perform simulations for assigned projects.

Skill Set:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or an equivalent of 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Electrical Component Engineer or in a similar role.
• Must demonstrate advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematic symbols and industry conventions.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to detect and respond to audible and visual machine warnings.
• Effective communication skills to convey accurate information.
• Must maintain full and unimpaired skills and judgment for safe job execution.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
