This position provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to join our new manufacturing team where you will have the opportunity to help build SolarEdge’s smart energy products. .

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of SolarEdge ATE test stations, fixtures, and production related equipment
  • Installation and setup of new stations
  • Regular monitoring of line yields and performance
  • Generate daily test reports and communicate data to local and headquarters teams
  • Engage with yield test issues from creation to resolution
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for first pass yield (FPY)
  • Perform daily maintenance checks and complete necessary fixes in a timely manner
  • Follow maintenance instructions and monthly audit processes to ensure proper functionality
  • Lead failure analysis processes; determine root cause and implement corrective actions
  • Support and train production testing technicians
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Occasional travel to other sites; possible international travel

Requirements:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • AS degree in a scientific or technical field; OR HS Diploma/GED with equivalent manufacturing experience
  • Must be available to work between shifts and after hours as needed
  • 1+ years technical experience in electronics – can be a combination of engineering, practical engineering, or technician
  • 1+ years experience as a test technician in a mass-production environment
  • Experience working with high-voltage equipment
  • Advanced electrical safety knowledge preferred
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge and experience with mechanics, software troubleshooting, and electronics
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible, adaptive, comfortable with multi-tasking, fast changing, sometimes chaotic but fun, high growth environment
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally up to 10%

FAIR PAY & A JUST WORKPLACE

At SolarEdge, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation. The pay range for this position in Nevada at the start of employment is expected to be between $80k – $90k annually. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at SolarEdge. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
