Summary: We’re seeking an Estimator to drive profitability by creating accurate bids for projects within our client’s scope. In this role, you’ll complete bid estimates, lead bid reviews, and manage your estimating workload under the supervision of a Senior or Chief Estimator. This exempt position offers autonomy and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Review project plans and specifications to create bid proposals
• Compute cost factors and prepare estimates
• Scope and qualify subcontract bids and material quotations
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site surveys
• Organize bid day activities for successful submissions
• Prepare bid summaries and assist in bid submissions
• Research and recommend manufacturers
• Participate in department meetings and assist in estimating change orders
• Maintain accurate data within estimating platforms
• Other duties as assigned

Experience and Education:

• 2-8 years of experience as an (Electrical) Estimator or Project Engineer
• Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously
• Knowledge of electrical systems relevant to the business group
• Additional experience or education in related fields is a plus
• Proficiency in construction management software such as Bluebeam, Procore, and MS Project
• Experience with Accubid or similar estimating software preferred

Compensation: The starting salary for this role is based on location and experience.
