This role involves representing clients in various labor and employment disputes, providing legal counsel, and ensuring compliance with state and federal labor laws.Duties:Represent clients in labor and employment litigation matters, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and labor relations.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trials.Advise clients on labor and employment law compliance, policies, and best practices.Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediation and arbitration.Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex cases and legal strategies.Manage and oversee a high-volume caseload, ensuring timely and efficient case management.Stay current with changes in labor and employment laws and regulations.Provide training and seminars to clients on labor and employment issues.Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and employment litigation.Admission to the California State Bar.Proven track record of handling a variety of labor and employment cases.Strong understanding of California and federal labor and employment laws.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of professionalism and ethical standards.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Strong litigation skills, including drafting motions, pleadings, and briefs.Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Proficient in using legal research tools and software.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
