Job Description

Headquartered in Langhorne, PA, Fortress Power is a leading global designer and manufacturer of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery energy storage systems for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The Company has operations across North America, the Caribbean, Central America, and Asia. In addition to its award-winning local live technical support, Fortress Power has partnered with industry-leading lending institutions to help make investment in solar and storage as easy as possible.

Fortress Power is seeking an HR Manager to be at the forefront of our People & Culture. This position will be responsible for talent and workforce management, employee engagement and culture, HR compliance & policies, and payroll processing. This is an in-office position, reporting into the CFO.

Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle recruiting across Sales, Engineering, and Administrative positions for the United States and Latin America
  • Act as a Talent Advisor to Hiring Managers to develop organizational and team structure, job descriptions & interview templates, and onboarding/training material
  • Source passive candidates and maintain a strong pipeline for niche & high demand positions
  • Conduct market research to stay up to date on compensation data and negotiate compensation structures with new and current employees
  • Drafting and implementing policies and procedures based on employee and company needs
  • Stay up to date on employment laws across all US states, Puerto Rico, and Mexico to ensure compliance
  • Develop and facilitate the company performance review appraisal & career development plans
  • Act as a liaison with the company’s Benefit Broker
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and be the Administrator for ADP WFN
  • Ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, SHRM CP a plus
  • 5+ years of related Human Resources and Recruiting experience
  • Extensive experience in full cycle recruiting, industry experience preferred
  • Proficiency with job board platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills as they need to be able to effectively communicate with upper management, job candidates, and employees from various other departments
  • Ability to prioritize & handle competing tasks in a fast paced, ever changing environment
  • Ability to flourish when given a lot of freedom to flex your creative muscles with a high degree of reliability, honesty, and integrity
