The Role
We are growing our renewable energy team in the United States to develop and build our pipeline of utility scale renewable energy projects that we intends to own and operate.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Renewable Project Finance Associate to lead financial modeling and structuring on utility-scale renewable energy projects. The primary responsibilities of this position are preparing financial models for raising tax equity, debt financing, and procuring the optimal post-IRA structured finance options for utility-scale renewables and evaluating potential M&A opportunities in both the renewable energy and traditional thermal power sectors. The Associate will work closely with senior team members to structure, execute, and manage complex financing solutions for renewable and traditional energy projects in the United States and globally.
The Associate will assist the team in vetting inputs to financial models, build virtual data rooms, managing diligence processes, preparing marking material and confidential information memoranda, satisfying conditions precedent to financial closings, and supporting the team through all stages of the capital raising process.
The preferred candidate has 2-4 years of utility-scale solar, storage, wind or thermal power finance experience working with M&A evaluations; tax equity and debt financings; and, a significant grasp of the IRA. Experience working directly with capital providers is a plus.
