Capital Markets Manager

One of our clients is a top IPP focused on accelerating the renewable energy transition through high-quality solar and energy storage projects. They are looking for a Capital Markets Manager who will be integral to a high-performing team responsible for fundraising, financial risk management, and supporting project development and M&A strategies.

Some key responsibilities of this role include:

• Leading the structuring and execution of financing for projects, including tax equity and debt transactions.
• Engaging in M&A due diligence with a focus on financial valuation and capital structure optimization.
• Creating and managing financial models for capital raising and acquisition financing.
• Identifying and addressing financial risks, providing recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Preparing presentations for investors and lenders, and overseeing the closing process.

A qualified candidate will have:

– Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.

– At least 5 years of experience in project finance, leveraged finance, M&A, or renewable energy development.

– Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial modeling of tax equity and debt transactions.

– Knowledge of debt and tax equity documentation.

– CFA designation (preferred)
