Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the construction and commissioning of BESS projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy projects, particularly in battery storage systems, and will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Contract Duration: 12-14 month

Responsibilities:

• Manage the construction and commissioning phases of BESS projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise site activities, including the work of subcontractors and on-site personnel, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure the quality of installation and adherence to project plans.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the project team, clients, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any issues that arise.
• Maintain comprehensive records of project progress, site activities, and any issues encountered. Prepare and present reports to senior management and clients.

Qualifications:

• Strong civil and electrical background.
• Must have worked on a solar or BESS project before.
• Battery commissioning and decommissioning experience.
• Owners Representative experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
