Job Description


Lindsay Renewables is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Integration Supervisor to oversee electrical work within our renewables division. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Operations and will collaborate with electrical subcontractor and in-house integration teams. This person will be responsible for ensuring quality standards, verifying code compliance, helping create scope of work, compiling BOM and materials estimates, and providing input for design of conductor and conduit plans. This person will carry out their responsibilities between multiple Lindsay Renewables integration facilities with potential of on-site integration work.

Responsibilities

  • Safety, Quality and Oversight Inspections:
  • Instilling and reinforcing safe work practices and processes, ensuring compliance with all applicable electrical and company safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide support and oversight to electrical subcontractors during assembly of power conversion skids, battery storage systems, EV Charging Systems, LV Substation Skids, and other energy related products.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and punch lists to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
  • Provide input in real time as well as problem solving unforeseen mechanical or electrical challenges.
  • Address any issues promptly and provide guidance to subcontractors.
  • Quoting and Estimating:
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to assess electrical requirements.
  • Provide input for accurate cost estimates for electrical materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Assist in creating competitive bids for new projects.
  • Conduit Layout Design:
  • Work closely with the engineering team to design conduit layouts for electrical systems.
  • Ensure efficient routing of conduits, considering safety, functionality, and aesthetics.
  • Provide input on material selection, sizing and installation methods.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed records of electrical work, inspections, and progress.
  • Generate reports on project status, budget adherence, and any deviations from plans.
  • Communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., production, maintenance) to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
    • Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
    • Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise.
    • Journeyman Electrician license from the state of Ohio, Master Electrician a plus.
    • Multiple states preferred including SC and CO.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical supervision, estimation, and conduit design.
    • Experience with medium voltage power conversion systems, switchboards, transformers, solar systems, and BESS is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC electrical codes, safety practices, and industry standards.
  • Experience with UL, OSHA NFP70e, or NSF is desired
  • Ability to read and comprehend basic mechanical and electrical prints
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Focused on understanding, meeting, and exceeding customer expectations
  • Must pass a physical exam, background check and drug screening
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift items greater than 25lbs
  • Ability to work at various heights
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to other Lindsay facilities and job sites.
