Job Description
PSE’s New Product Development team is looking for a Distributed Energy Resource (“DER”) Strategy Development Manager to lead PSE’s efforts to define, develop and enable the platforms, processes and use cases needed to maximize benefit of distribution sited DERs. Examples include PSE’s Virtual Power Plant (VPP), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and overall DER Enablement activities. The DER Strategy Development Manager works in highly matrixed and cross-functional settings, bringing together operational, customer, IT, regulatory, economic, and other requirements to conceptualize and deploy platforms and processes for PSE’s future DER portfolio, including resources owned by PSE, customers, and 3rd parties. This role works across both customer-facing and operational parts of the utility to ensure the right IT projects, IT/OT, Asset Management, and Operational strategies are prioritized and developed such that DERs can be deployed at-scale.

The pay range for this position is $101,000.00 – $168,200.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
