Job Description

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Coach, mentor, motivate and develop your team.
  • Develop productive labor relations through the understanding and application of the union contract.
  • Work with the Materials and Quality to ensure delivery and quality requirements are achieved.
  • Help in the identification and development of standardized procedures and training materials.
  • Conduct Shift Meetings to facilitate good shift-to-shift communication
  • Demonstrate flexibility in work schedule to ensure proper leadership coverage.
  • Effectively managing shop floor, manufacturing operations including:
  • Accurate reporting of production, scrap, and labor.
  • Timely shift startup and shutdown
  • Training, development, and motivation of shop floor personnel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP a plus.
  • Experience: 3 years in a manufacturing environment, leadership, extrusion manufacturing experience and Union environment
  • Dependable and highly organized. Detail oriented problem solver.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of management.
