Mechanical Engineer / Battery / Fremont, CA

This position is for an Battery / Renewable Energy start-up company located in Fremont, CA and is an hybrid position for someone looking to join an up and coming company at the forefront of innovation in their field.

Experience Required:

• 5+ years full lifecycle product development experience of mechanical battery systems and components
• Design, Development and prototyping of mechanical battery components on electric vehicles
• Casting, injection molding, stamping
• Component analysis, CAE, CFD, FAE
• DFMEA, APQP – work closely with Manufacturing team
• 3D Mechanical Design using CATIA or Solidworks
• Experience with GD&T and 3D modeling software

Qualifications:

• BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering, or similar technical discipline
