Summary : Under the responsibility of the site manager, the maintenance planner is the person responsible for the planning, coordination and scheduling of preventive maintenance work, corrective work and minor projects.Responsibilities : Planning:

  • Carry out EHS risk analyses before the start of the work (lockout, confined spaces, working at heights, etc.); Ensure compliance of contractors and their workers.
  • Preparation of the necessary documentation for the work (procedures, permits, etc.)
  • Identify the required labour, materials required, subcontractors and tools needed to carry out the work safely.
  • Identify the scope of work; Estimate response time and potential production downtime as required.

Coordination:

  • Coordinate with operations when the work will be carried out
  • Identify the employees who will carry out the work.
  • Monitor weekly work planning and make changes as needed.

Scheduling:

  • Assign work orders to employees/contractors and closely monitor the work
  • Document relevant information (service report, photos, recommendations, etc.) in the work order management system.
  • Perform required updates in computer software.
  • Measure and improve the company’s ability to meet the established schedule. (KPI)

Other:

  • Documentation of legislative inspections for the client.
  • Participate in the development of management tools to ensure effective planning
  • Participation in reliability improvement projects
  • Propose improvements to the preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance program
  • PO management
  • Customer invoicing
  • All other related tasks.

Requirements :

  • Is authorized to work in the US;
  • DVS in Industrial Mechanics, DVS in Electromechanics or any combination of education and/or experience may be considered;
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience;
  • Able to be on-call when managers on vacation;
  • Significant technical experience in building mechanics;
  • Knowledge of the Office suite;
  • Experience with maintenance management software;
  • Able to pass a security screening at the required level;
  • Able to pass a medical examination.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
