We are hiring a Construction Superintendent to join our Team!

The Construction Superintendent plays a vital role in overseeing and managing daily field operations, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and quality standards. This position involves effectively coordinating trades, managing logistics, and communicating with project stakeholders. The successful individual in this position will have extensive experience in construction, preferably with Civil and Electrical exposure, to manage the successful delivery of our electrification, EV and Utilities projects. Key responsibilities include site supervision, quality assurance, safety compliance, scheduling and coordination, budget management, and subcontractor oversight. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a thorough understanding of construction documentation, blueprint interpretation, regulatory compliance, and the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.

Contract to Hire or Employee

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage daily field operations on job sites
  • Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors
  • Oversee construction site safety
  • Review and implement construction schedules, logistics plans, and staffing needs
  • Coordinate sequencing of trades and vendors participating in projects
  • Communicate frequently with project managers regarding progress, delays, change orders, challenges etc.
  • Identify problems or issues as they arise and collaborate to troubleshoot solutions
  • Ensure completion of all necessary inspections, testing, documentation, and paperwork
  • Manage relationships and communication with clients/owners, architects, inspectors
  • Oversee site logistics including deliveries, equipment, temporary facilities, cleanup

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel
  • 5+ years construction experience
  • Strong leadership, team building, and conflict resolution abilities
  • Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Budget management skills and knowledge of accounting principles
  • Commitment to safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety
  • Experience with software such as Spectrum, ProjectSight, Traqspera, and Procore.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges that may arise during construction projects.
  • MS Office
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Pay: $87,891.00 – $110,000.00 per year
