The responsibilities would include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Attending and participating in the coordination, logistics, and organization of events and career fairs
  • Assisting with the scheduling and conducting of phone calls, interviews, follow-ups, and keeping the recruiting team calendar updated
  • Assisting in developing standardized job descriptions, posting external positions, and placing internal personnel.
  • Building and facilitating campus recruiting presentations as needed
  • Maintaining rapport with MMR departments to stay up to date on hiring needs
  • Utilizing an Applicant Tracking System to track the recruiting processes and workflows
  • Assist with registering for events/completing invoices/ordering recruiting items
  • Assisting in the discovery of new universities and continuous building of pipelines as it aligns with the overall recruiting business plan
  • Possible travel as needed to district offices, University events, and career fairs
  • The above is not an exhaustive list of duties, and you will be expected to perform different tasks as needed to align with the overall business objectives of the organization

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Workforce Development, or a related field or an equivalent relevant work experience
  • 1- 2 years experience in a recruiting role preferred
  • Construction Industry experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem-solve, and exercise good judgment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to coordinate a variety of projects simultaneously
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and creativity
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required
  • Able to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Regular and reliable attendance at work
