JOB SUMMARY:

Support the investment operations function of the SCS Trust Finance team

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics required

Experience Requirements :

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in Finance or Accounting
  • Demonstrated experience in financial operations, cash management, and accounting reconciliation.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, adapt, and meet short-term deadlines
  • Effective communication skills a must
  • Excellent reading comprehension skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Skilled in use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responding to administrative requests of trustee banks (foreign market issues, authorized signer lists, opening of new custodial accounts, etc.
  • Will support the management of liquidity needs and rebalancing directives for Foundation, VEBA & NDT assets
  • Save trustee bank, asset manager statements and appropriate SOX evidence to required folders
  • Assist with meeting materials and quarterly performance reports
  • Manage record retention requirements
  • Monitor investment guideline compliance online tools and determine if true violations require team involvement
  • Assist with survey requests and coordinate responses from appropriate team members
  • Complete quarterly fair value summaries of various asset pools
  • Assist with private investment subscription documents
  • Assist with background checks of investment professionals associated with private market deals
  • Gathering documents / saving data rooms of prospective private equity fund opportunities
  • Assist with completion of due diligence questionnaires
  • Assist with completion of LPA amendments
  • Work with auditors to perform investment confirms and other requests
