Responsibilities may include but not limited to tasks below.
1. Assist with the development, implementation, and sustainability of an effective safety culture within the workplace.
2. Conduct field audits of permits, LOTO, excavation and other safety procedures.
3. Work with Senior Management in the implementation of the companys safety policies, procedures, and SOPs.
4. Monitor the workforce for unsafe behaviors and coach employees on the correct behaviors.
5. Interpret and monitor adherence to OSHA related requirements.
6. Initiate incident investigation and work with EHS team to complete reports.
7. Audit and evaluate the effectiveness of the companys safety policies and procedures.
8. Actively promotes and encourages employee participation in the safety programs.
9. Assist in the monitoring and distribution of PPE for employees.
10. Run safety meetings.
Required Skills:
1. EHS experience in Solar Construction (3-4 years)
2. OSHA 30 Certification
3. NFPA 70E trained
Preferred Skills:
1.A Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety
2. Safety Certification (STSC, CHST, etc.) plus 2 years experience in Safety
