Position Description

As our Battery Scientist, you will take ownership of intellectually challenging projects, working independently while also managing and guiding a team of engineers and technicians. Your leadership, communication, and management skills will be key as you navigate R&D challenges, deliver critical milestones, and drive projects forward. You will also engage in discussions on scientific data, sharing insights and results that push the advancement of our technology and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage scientific research projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct cutting-edge research in advanced sodium ion batteries.
  • Communicate project status, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and publications.
  • Foster partnerships with external organizations, universities, and research institutions.
  • Provide training on laboratory techniques, data analysis, and project management best practices.

Key Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Materials Science/Chemistry/Physics/Engineering or equivalent. Or Masters with 5+ years of experience.
  • Proven experience in project management and scientific research.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and laboratory equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in grant writing and securing research funding.
