Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Assist in the company’s compliance of licensing and application processing and help execute the application process in accordance with the business rules established by the respective states. Help our internal employees/applicants understand which documents they need when obtaining licenses and inform them of any additional regulations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Execute and process state license renewals for both the General Building, Electrical, and Business licenses.
  • Complete all new licenses applications and submit to the respective licensing states.
  • Track continuing education timelines for license holders and obtain necessary materials to complete.
  • Secure payment and study materials if applicable for licensing renewals and new contractor applications.
  • Research and update current licensing policies/amendments as state laws require.
  • Resolve any licensing issues as they arise and maintain current and proper knowledge of licensing practices.
  • Refine and improve the contracting and licensing process and procedures documenting all changes as needed.
  • Communicate and work with internal teams to update list of current licenses and forecast potential new state licenses and timelines.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-5 years of administrative experience

  • $24-$36/hourly, dependent on experience, qualifications, and competencies.
