Responsibilities & Job Duties (include, but are not limited to)

  • Develop an understanding of secondary ticket marketplace operations
  • Develop an understanding of the Point of Sale (POS) system
  • Data entry of small and/or large-scale purchase orders into the point-of-sale system
  • Assist in the process of inventory management
  • Manage annual renewable inventories of professional and college partners
  • Maintain detailed inventory archive files
  • Assist in managing any on-site local or national events
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve department goals
  • Assist in developing and maintaining strong business relationships
  • Fulfill tasks set out by supervisors from several departments
  • Other administrative support as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in sports management, business, communications, or related field
  • Attention to detail and strong organization skills required
  • Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with ability to quickly change tasks
  • Self-motivated with high initiative to begin, continue and accurately complete projects
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a group setting
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and written
  • Experience with the secondary ticket marketplace is considered a plus
  • Passion for sports is considered a plus
  • Retail, travel, event or sports experience considered a plus
