Job Description

  • Manage and/or support environmental engineering projects from conception to completion that are focused on decarbonization and energy efficiency.
  • Conduct energy assessments, site investigations, and impact studies to identify energy and/or CO2 reduction opportunities.
  • Conduct environmental engineering studies and preparing environmental impact reports for new construction projects, plant processes, and permits.
  • Provide technical expertise and calculating energy and CO2 reductions for technical projects.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams at our manufacturing plant(s) to design and implement sustainable solutions that mitigate environmental impact and promote sustainability.
  • Work independently with general supervision.
  • May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years of energy experience, desired experience in automotive and/or heavy-duty industrial manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of energy management, energy efficiency, decarbonization
  • Data analytics experience required.
  • Experience working with Energy Programs
  • Experience investigating different types of renewable energy implementations.
  • Experience calculating energy and CO2 reduction within engineering projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Holistic, open mindset and positive attitude towards people and problems.
  • Good understanding of the automotive and/or heavy-duty trucks business.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $104,000.00 per year
