Maine Audubon is a widely respected conservation organization with headquarters located in Falmouth, Maine, and influence statewide. Our mission is to conserve Maines wildlife and habitat through conservation, education, and advocacy. We are seeking a Policy Advocate to advance Maine Audubons mission by advocating for strong wildlife and wildlife habitat policies at the local and state level and compel our members, supporters, and the public to action on behalf of conservation. This position will lead our work to advance solar, wind, and other renewable energy technologies and infrastructure, as well as support our advocacy efforts in areas such as land use planning, habitat connectivity, and environmental justice.

As a key member of the Advocacy Team, the Policy Advocate will be responsible for spearheading our organizations efforts to transition Maine to a clean energy future leading our work to advance solar, wind, and other renewable energy technologies and infrastructure while minimizing impact to wildlife and habitat.
