Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is looking for a dynamic Technical Services Manager for Soy Processing Operations. This position is responsible for supporting operations and production to ensure the organization accomplishes its goals in the most efficient manner. In this role, you will assist local plant operations management and corporate management with daily operations of all facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist plant management with daily activities associated with soy plant operations.
- Develop new process ideas through researching various technical resources with similar processes or business applications.
- Complete analyses to determine required modifications in response to operational problems and/or to support projects.
- Assist plant management with process changes or development of potential changes to enhance operations and meet product quality parameters. Assist in evaluating operating efficiencies, processing parameters, and providing recommendations for improvements and cost reduction.
- Investigate, analyze, evaluate, and troubleshoot plant problems as assigned.
- Prepare and recommend short and long-term goals and procedures for all operating units.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 10+ years of plant operation (soy processing) or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of product testing practices, policies, procedures, and services.
- Knowledge of the general industry regulations and practices, including but not limited to NFPA, OSHA, EPA, DNR and local government regulations.
- Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills along with ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple work assignments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate with diverse individuals/groups, customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
- Proven critical thinking skills.
- Established analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to respond with flexibility to changing work demands.
